First, I want to thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. This site was born out of a desire to write but not be limited to certain topics or ideas. The name aTypicalguy can be seen as “A Typical Guy” or “atypicalguy” and is descriptive of me in either sense of the word. I am music geek and a weight lifter, a technology geek and sports fan, a sci-fi fan and an action buff. Sometimes I feel like I’m a walking contradiction, but I’m happy with who God made me to be.
I am married to my beautiful wife, and are expecting our first child in April of 2012! I am a BIG Steelers fan and enjoy watching the Penguins as well! In my spare time I like to play my guitar, Xbox360, and php programming. I am currently beginning a journey with the Christian and Missionary Alliance and the Ministerial Studies Program where I will be working towards the goal of entering the ministry full-time.
I do hope that this site can be one of humor and fun, as well as reflection and contemplation and that you may find yourself challenged by something, or just simply laughing at what you see, hear, or read.
